SpringHill Suites by Marriott Roanoke

"Rooms were clean and spacious. The set up provided a visual barrier between the living and sleeping areas, but not a separate room. Lobby was big with lots of seating for breakfast and beautiful holiday decorations. Tiny tiny pool that had a very loud noise the whole time, but other than that staff was kind, great service, breakfast had lots of options, coffee in the lobby, and a hotel bar. "We were able to get tickets to a Christmas play in downtown Roanoke & this hotel was the perfect location. While my check in wasn't what it could have been the bartender/host was quite friendly & seemed knowledgeable of the area. We tried the Margherita Flatbread & Onion rings & they were lovely. We will definitely return."

"This hotel is super nice and in a very convenient location. There are plenty of places to eat and nice if you would like to go downtown Roanoke but not pay for the overpriced hotel(s) downtown. Easy check-in & check-out process(es). I loved the fact that I did not have to pay for parking either. The complimentary breakfast was also a plus. I will definitely be back."

"On our way to Florida when Winchester Marriott cancelled our reservation due to a water issue but referred us to another further down the 81 in Roanoke. Arrived and they took care of the new booking without any problems. Wonderful after a 10 hour drive. Rooms clean front desk professional and Bar and restaurant service attentive and wonderful friendly. Bar food excellent simple and fairly priced. Hotel quiet and had a wonderful one night stay!"

"Nice hotel near the heart of Roanoke. Rooms are big, clean, and comfortable. Hotel amenities are nice, but standout is the gym, which is huge and has a wide range of equipment when compared to many similar class hotel gyms. Location is decent, but it's a longer walk into downtown Roanoke. Only down side is that there's a $5 for parking, which is not the norm for similar class hotels."

"As avid road trippers, we have stayed in a LOT of hotels across the East, and this may have been our favorite! The rooms are incredibly well designed with a separate lounge area and sleeping area. The beds and bedding are spectacular. Both TVs in the room were smart tvs, which we really appreciate. The breakfast was excellent, as was the coffee. Staff were lovely. An overall great experience. We will definitely be back when we come through Roanoke next..."
